Project-Based Planning
($1,000-4,800)

This method is ideal for developing a comprehensive, one-time plan that may take several weeks or months, making hourly billing less suitable. The flat fee review offers clients essential information to make informed decisions independently. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a second opinion and encourages clients to participate in the detailed planning process.

First, we will work together to figure out your current financial situation. Then, we will discuss your financial goals, whether planning a big trip, saving for a child’s education, caring for aging parents, remodeling your home, or taking a work sabbatical. After that, we will create a customized plan with recommendations and strategies to help you achieve your goals. Once the initial financial plan is delivered, I will continue to be available as a resource for you. Life changes can happen, and things don’t always go as planned, so we will be available to assist you with whatever you may need throughout the year, with regularly scheduled check-ins at a frequency that we decide together.

Hourly Planning
($250/hr)

This structure is designed for clients who seek flexible financial guidance. It offers pricing that fits your budget and regular check-ins to keep you on track. We charge for the time spent, which includes client meetings, document reviews, and plan development. Together, we define the hourly rate and the scope of the engagement to ensure everything is clear and transparent while we keep a close eye on the time spent running.

Do you have financial concerns but aren’t ready for comprehensive planning? Are you seeking a second opinion regarding your financial picture? Do you have a specific area where you need help (Paying off debt, education funding, etc.)? If so, our Project Based Hourly Planning Engagements are right for you.

frequently asked questions

Here are a few of our most commonly asked questions. Reach out with any unique ones.

Is there a minimum amount needed to become a client?

No. We serve all clients regardless of their net worth and only take on clients if we believe we can add significant value to their financial lives. If we think another advisory firm may be better suited to serve you, we will provide recommendations. Our services include one-time financial plans, ongoing financial advice, and portfolio reviews.

What makes your firm different from others?

Our advice-only planning offers comprehensive financial services without minimum asset requirements. We provide unbiased, transparent, and client-centered planning, emphasizing education and collaboration. You have the final say in investment decisions, and we operate as fiduciaries with a legal obligation to have your best interests in mind.

What financial planning topics do you cover?

Understanding your ability to spend, save, and earn money is crucial. That’s why we provide advice on all aspects of your financial life. This includes helping you choose your workplace benefits, select investments, create a budget, understand your home and auto insurance, plan for taxes, and establish and prioritize financial goals. We also offer guidance on evaluating rental properties, choosing the right credit cards, and finding affordable flights.

What is your investment philosophy?

We advocate a low-cost investment approach using tax-efficient ETFs from Vanguard or Dimensional (unless held inside tax-advantaged accounts). Your allocation between fixed income and equities should be determined by your risk appetite and financial timeline. We do not recommend individual stocks or bonds.
